Today I am grateful I woke up. There will never be another today in all of eternity. We will never have another Tuesday just like this one. Isn’t that wild to think about? Do you ever think about being grateful for your life? Not just being grateful because you got something. Or grateful for the love of your pet. Being in a state of gratitude is a choice, and it is not tied to any result, person, or circumstance. Today I encourage you to contemplate this level of gratitude, just for waking up, just for being alive. This level of gratitude has the highest vibration, and is what brings you more into alignment with everything you truly desire in life.

I know there are people out there who probably wish they didn’t wake up today. I have been there, more times in my life than I care to remember. Sometimes everything seems just so unfair, and like we have no control. But we do have control, of ourselves, of our emotions. And the highest vibration is to choose true gratitude just for waking up. I wish someone had told me that when I was homeless and hiding out with two little children fearing for my life. Although it was one of the low points of my life, how much worse would it have been for my kids if I had killed myself? They kept me going, along with animals. And sometimes, I think that is what they are here for. To give us hope when it seems we have none. Because if you woke up today, you still have a purpose and a meaning, something,or someone, still needs you.

​ So I encourage you today, on this beautiful, unique moment in all of eternity, to really hold gratitude in your heart, for simply being alive. Oh yeah, and pet cute animals, that helps a lot.
