This morning I am watching a YouTube video from a Reiki Healing Master who is clearing negative energy. I feel like I need it. The pressure of the holidays was really getting to me yesterday. The deadlines. The gifts. The extra expenses. The snow storm slowing down business. A missing goldfish mystery. Which was solved at the end of the day when I found its poor mangled body that had been sucked into a filter pump. The guilt. The anger. The feelings of “here I am this supposed world fish expert and I couldn’t prevent that from happening?". The sadness for the poor fish and the pain and suffering it must have felt.

So I am hoping this Reiki Master can remove some negative energy, help me to forgive myself and others, and focus on gratitude and that it’s only the beginning of the month and I still have time for everything to come together to create a beautiful, magical holiday for those I care about, especially my team and my family.

Mama said there would be days like these, indeed.

Today I am grateful I had a restful night's sleep. That I got to see the last of the full moon through the snowy trees and it was magic. That all of our other fish are well and happy. That my daughter feels sympathy for my sadness. And that I have the whole day ahead of me to create something beautiful, even if I don’t yet know what that might be.
