Yesterday we had CSU’s Science on the Fly huge STEM van pull up in front of the hospital and open its doors to the public, just wow! They sent not one, but two veterinarians, and even more support team folks to help make sure to give people the best experience possible. It was incredible, and I felt so honored and grateful. Yes, I am grateful that CSU saw fit to bring that portable classroom all the way down from Fort Collins in the snow yesterday. Thank you to them and their entire team for doing such a phenomenal job. If you ever see them out and about, make sure to stop in, it is worth it!

I am also grateful our Pet Pictures with Santa at the hospital yesterday went fairly smoothly. We didn’t have anything overly exciting like last year when the Shetland Pony showed up (thanks Kaylene), but we had many cute pups and grateful people. And frankly, it was just nice to spend time with the staff and Mr. and Mrs. Claus, to just socialize for a little bit and hang out, especially after a particularly stressful morning at the hospital with multiple complicated medical cases we were trying to solve.

​This morning there is no time to dawdle, there is still much to be done to prepare for Santa. I am grateful we are having this event today, and for the people who helped make it possible, and for the people who are signed up to come and enjoy it with us. I am grateful for the sunrise, and that all the horses look happy this morning (especially Chilli). I am grateful we are having great weather today for this event, and I am grateful to you for caring about animals, yourself, others, and for just being a nice human.
