Dr. Jena Questen
Have you ever had a training session interrupted by a strong windy day like this? With positive reinforcement training, you will have lost training days because your horses have so much self confidence, and trust in you, that it is easier for them to concentrate and learn, despite the distraction of heavy wind. Don't believe me that it's true? Check out my Natalia in the windstorm long form video and be astounded by a young horse totally unbothered by dramatic wind like this.
Today I am grateful for Natalia's trust in me, for the sunrise, for the whole beautiful day ahead of me, for being out unexpectedly, pleasantly late and getting to see the night sky and the stars in their full glory as the moon retreats last night, and for my daughter who helps me so much with just, all of it, every single day. I am blessed and lucky to have two great kids, who also happen to be amazing humans.
Have you been counting your blessings, my Animal Loving Angel? I sure hope so. Because sometimes when the world seems crazy, and doesn't make sense, the only thing we can do is focus on ourselves Take a moment to turn inward, observe what rests there in the quiet between breaths, between words, between actions, and connect with that stillness, for that is tuning in to the vibration of the universe, and the source of everything you desire in life. There is no going back to yesterday. And since you were lucky enough to wake up today, the universe is not done with you yet. Which probably means animals need you. So I am glad you woke up today to help me, help more animals, have a better life. Together, we got this. Make it the best day ever!
