Today I am grateful we got home safely from the All American Koi Show late last night. Well, technically this morning as we got in around 2:30! I am grateful we had an uneventful flight without travel delays, despite bringing a microscope in a metal case on the plane which was a first for me, and sure drew a lot of intrigued looks! I am grateful for all the fun experiences we had, and mostly the wonderful people we met. It felt good to have one of the organizers be genuinely sad we were not staying through today the final day of the show. But we needed to get back to the ranch. I am grateful I was able to take my daughter to the event, and that it seemed to be a life changing experience for her. She was really the star of the show! She ended up running the entire AV from the sound booth for all the speakers, including Hap the founder of the North Face, because there was no one else around to do it. What an experience all around, I am so lucky and grateful we were able to attend and make so many new friends, and reconnect with old friends as well. I am so grateful I made the decision to go, it was the right one, I think.

​Today it's back to ranch life, checking up on all the animals, filling water tanks, cleaning the rooster enclosure, and getting everything ready for another week to start tomorrow. What about you, Animal Loving Angel, how do you intend to spend this beautiful Sunday? I hope it is by connecting with others, and taking time to appreciate the simple things in life. The little fish, the dogs, the cats, the horses, the roosters, and all the other animals in the world, both wild and domestic, who we share this planet with. Today is a fie day to take a moment, and deeply appreciate all the magnificent animals we are lucky enough to share life with. And if you woke up today, that means, your life still has a purpose and a meaning. So get out there today, do something nice for yourself, because you deserve it, and do something nice for the animals, they deserve our help. It's like our flight attend said over the PA last night on our plane, you are a beautiful person, and I love you, and you don't have a choice in that, so smile! It was very sweet and kind. I sure hope something extra special and kind happens for you today. Thank you for being here.
