Today I am grateful for the snow!!!!! I love the snow!!!!

I am grateful for clean dogs who got baths last night, clean sheets, a good night's rest, and the opportunity to be a creator on YouTube so I can help connect people who really loves animals. The people who 'get it'. And help more people to 'get it', for a kindler, gentler more compassionate society. Am I right?!

The rooster is settling in great. I swear he is pretty much already housebroken. He poops on puppy pads 90% of the time. He doesn't like to have dirty feet. He let's us soak them in warm soapy water and seems to really enjoy it.

This week we are trying something different and new (again) with this Friday's video. Every new 'hot tip' I get on going viral, makes me hold my breath that maybe THIS next video will FINALLY be the one that starts to gain respectable views. This time we have already edited this video three times and are going to edit it at least once or twice more before going public. Lot's more work, but, if it helps more people to understand how to use positive reinforcement horse training, then it's all worth it. Especially on days like today when horses are extra spicy, how does that change training for that day? Weather is one of the things to consider on my 7-Step checklist before you start any positive reinforcement ( R+) training, any training, or simply caretaking behaviors. All us horsey folks know that, right?

It is a snow day for safety around here and Aspen Park Vet Hospital, so my amazing staff can get back home safe before the weather gets worse, thank you for understanding.

That said, we are for sure going to have an extra spectacular day and get to enjoy this beautiful snow gently falling. Be safe out there today, especially all you folks out there keeping us safe and helping us out, police men and tow trucks drivers, hospital employees, and all of you, thank you.

No matter what, it Friday, TGIF, so lot's to celebrate there. I dare you to dance in your bare feet, even for 3-5 seconds today. Or just dance for 3-5 seconds. Or just imagine dancing in your head until you get a smile on your face. Be kind to yourself, everything is working out great today no matter what, and you are right where you are supposed to be today you Animal Loving Angel.
