Dr. Jena Questen
Join us today as we focus on two older mares, Sweet Dixie and Sugar, who have found their forever home at the our rescue ranch. This animal video briefly shares their story and our mission to provide a loving environment for these horses. Your support for our horse rescue efforts makes a huge difference!
Today, not only am I grateful for Dixie and Sugar, but also for sweet Chilli who was gently following me around and chewing on the hood of my jacket while I made this video. Please excuse all the poop in the background, you know the drill, the tractor and all...
I used to be kind of afraid of Chilli, she can be a wild child! But lately she is mellowing out into such a sweet, beautiful innocent girl. And Dixie, she is the only one who never forgets to greets us when she see's us. And Sugar, she is always the first at the gate to train, go for walks, work with the volunteers. She is a true asset to our training programs. Also grateful my ankle hurts less, my Derby party is coming along, and that I woke up today, to give this thing called life another shot.
What about you, Animal Loving Angel? What are you grateful for, and looking forward to, this beautiful Tuesday morning? I hope something wonderful. Maybe a dance party? Ha! Sign me up! Remember, no matter what, there is always something to be grateful for, and also, everyone is going through something, so we can all use a little grace and forgivness. Sometimes, even we have to forgive ourselves for yesterday, and look forward to today. Make it a great day!🥰
