👋 Hey animal lovers! Thanks for watching! 😊 This educational video highlights our passion for horse videos and the intricate world of horse behavior. We explore equine psychology and horse health, emphasizing the ongoing journey of learning. We also feature our beloved donkey, reminding everyone that there's always more to discover about our animal friends. Ready to level up your animal knowledge?

Just go to ResqRanch.org and join the FREE community in the top right corner. Inside you will find our FREE videos on positive reinforcement horse training. Not just free videos, but my entire Horse Training Masterclass. So if you join the community and run out of videos, just email us and we will send you the rest. We are working hard to get all the modules uploaded, but until we do, don't let us stop you from making progress. We want all the horse world to have this tool to enhance their relationship with their horse in ways they never thought possible.

Today I am grateful I woke up today, I had a great day yesterday at work, we overcame some significant problems early on in the day and I am grateful for that, I am grateful Dixie did not get more hurt last night when she tried to charge through a gate we were in the process of closing, fell down, and got stuck in the fencing (luckily she is scraped up but just fine this morning), and I am grateful I have the whole day ahead of me to make the most of this time I have been given.

What led to the little accident with Dixie, is that last night after work I decided to let the horses out of the corral to graze a little. Now last Saturday was the first time they have been out of the corral (not on a lead) and allowed to graze the property in 2 months! And still, we have very little grass for them to eat out there. So they just can't be out there all the time, yet, or they will turn the ground to dust. So, I let them out last night for about an hour, but getting them back in is the trick. The chunky horses run right back in to get grain, but some of the others could care less about grain when they have freedom and green grass. So the struggle is real. Bringing them back in, with buckets of grain and feed pans, enough to catch the attention and interest of the whole herd, before what's there gets eaten and they make their way back out again before we have a chance to run and close the gate, well, it's all that chaos that led to poor Dixie making a bad call and charging for the sliver of open gate to try to get into her stall. We had not intended for her to be in a stall last night. We generally only stall her at night when it is cold or wet out. But we sure put her in a stall last night because I was worried about how sore she would be from falling down and getting her neck caught in the gate. Scary!

But she seems just fine this morning, which just goes to show you, once again, why you always have to be careful around horses, and anyone who tells you otherwise, is not being honest with you and is risking your well being. That's why our students and volunteers always wear helmets, and so should you when working with horses. Your safety is our priority.

So what is your priority today on this beautiful Tuesday, my Animal Loving Angel? Is it figuring out how to get horses in your life this summer? Is it just making it through the day? Is it doing something nice for yourself, like taking a walk in nature, going to the gym, or spending time with your animals? I sure hope spending some quality time doing what you love to do the very most, is something you will do today, to bring you closer to your highest self. The more fun you have, the happier you are and the longer you live!

If any part of that includes animals, and you need help in any way, remember, I am here for you. Whether it is for you r dog, cat, fish, or horse, through Aspen Park Vet Hospital, or, whether it is for training your dogs or horses, I can help.

For example, here is a video I did a few years ago about how to use positive reinforcement, or R+ to help a nervous horse stand still https://youtu.be/QI-u27sjVMg

So get our there, give yourself that high five in the mirror, and walk barefoot in the grass. Know, if you woke up today, then you are a valuable person. Make the most of this beautiful day!
