We celebrate Napoleon Solo's Preakness win, a thrilling moment in horse racing. Our thoroughbred, Blaze, is making a good recovery from her injury, thanks to dedicated horse care. We hope all racehorses find loving homes after their careers, emphasizing the importance of animal welfare and animal rescue.

I think it's so cute how Oliver did a little buck, it really did seem as if he was cheering the Preakness winner! I am grateful all of the horses, and all of the jockeys, had a safe trip, most importantly. I am grateful Emblaze is doing better. I am grateful Oliver is not doing worse. I am grateful the pet food company Wild Earth sent a camera crew to Aspen Park Vet Hospital yesterday to interview the staff and take cute pictures. I am grateful my daughters are safe and making good choices, and grateful it's Sunday.

How about you, Animal Loving Angel, what are you grateful for today? I so much hope you rest today. Sit for a moment, either in prayer, or meditation, or just a deep breath, and gives thanks for something. And definitely choose something fun! Dance. Better yet, dance barefoot. But mostly, get up close to, smell, breathe, admire, a magnificent animal, in person today, if you can.
