Dr. Jena Questen
Start your morning on a Colorado ranch with our favorite Evergreen Rodeo donkey. We are checking in on our animals to ensure they are healthy and happy, specifically making sure Donkey survived his huge adventure and very long walk without any soreness or pain. If you love ranch life, horses, or want to see what goes into training animals, this sunrise glimpse behind the scenes is for you. Come see us at the Evergreen Rodeo today to learn more about our animals, training classes, and volunteer opportunities. Like you perhaps, I don't always love what I see there in the ways the animals are handled sometimes. But what joins us all is our love of animals, and the lasting reform must come from the inside. Don't hate, strive to understand, and advocate to improve animal welfare where needed. Hope to see you!
Today I am grateful we survived our first Evergreen Rodeo Parade, unscathed!
I am grateful for all the great conversations I had yesterday at the booth with people that really want to understand, and join our cause as volunteers!
I am grateful I sold some of my darn near magical Shoo-Fly and Wound Care spray. It works so wonderfully, I just know the folks who try it, will love it as much as we do to soothe irritated skin on animals from all those summer bugs bites. For those who don't know, my daughter and I literally spent the last 2 years trying different combinations of essential oils to land on this formula, which we think works better than anything else on the market. We certainly will never be without it, and will never put pesticides on the animals again. So grateful we don't have to!
I am grateful to my kids who helped me so much this weekend, in more ways than I can count.
I am grateful for all the wonderful father's out there, setting aside their own needs for their families, this day to honor them, that it's Sunday, and that I get one more chance to speak with hundreds of animal lovers today about a kinder way to train animals.
What about you, Animal Loving Angel? Don't forget to tell a worthy man today you appreciate them, and to be kind and gentle on yourself (it's ok, you deserve it).
Remember, I am here for you.
All my love,
DrQ
