Dr. Jena Questen
Our animal rescue after a massive storm left us with a brand new pond! Grateful that the horses and wild animals handled the wild weather overnight. We are checking on all the animals and assessing the damage across the property after the heavy rain and hail. Even the chipmunks want to be indoors! Our first 3 day clinic of the summer is happening this weekend. We have one spot left, and a scholarship is still available, so if you have been dreaming of hands on with the horses, in the kindness, safest, most compassionate way possible, you are not going to want to miss this! More details at ResqRanch.org, looking forward to seeing you there!
Today I am grateful for our new pond!
For the fact all the horses survived the crazy weather unscathed.
That is rain will help put out the burn burning yesterday that was too close for comfort.
I am grateful I woke up today and get to enjoy another brand new day to mold as I wish.
I am grateful for my home, my kids, my mother, electricity, running water, and modern health care.
What about you, Animal Loving Angel? What are you grateful for today? I hope you were safe last night, wherever you were and whatever the weather. I hope you are looking forward to being kind to yourself today. It is a perfect day to take a look in the mirror, and tell that person, you are proud of them. Because, you, are doing alright. Remember to be kind to yourself, and someone else, today, without expecting anything in return. Forgive them, and let it go. Focus on yourself, and not them. Their journey is their own, as is yours. So make the most of it!
And if there is anything I can do for you and your animals, remember, I am here for you.
So hug, pet, or admire a cute animal today, and give yourself a break.
Sending you all my love, as always,
DrQ
