An interesting facts about Argentina and it's history with horses includes the development of the breed called The Criollo—a remarkably sturdy, sure-footed, and courageous horse breed developed by Argentinian Gaucho riders—they are declared the national horse and cultural heritage of Argentina. In fact In 1928, two Argentine Criollo horses named Mancha and Gato completed an incredible 13,360-mile (21,500 km) journey from Buenos Aires, Argentina to New York City. This legendary three-year trek cemented the rugged endurance of the Criollo and highlighted the profound bond between the Argentine gaucho (cowboy) and his horse. No wonder the horses are celebrating Argentina's victory yesterday in the World Cup Finals!

Today I am grateful the horses are feeling good this Sunday morning.

I am grateful I got to spend some time with friends last night and watch the World Cup at the local dog park, how cool is that?

I am grateful it's Sunday and I have the whole day ahead of me.

I am grateful for horses, period.

I am grateful for my healthy, happy kids, my family, my dogs, and my contacts that help me see. I would not want to have to live without them!
