Keeping your horse cool and safe during the peak of summer heat is always a challenge. Whether you are prepping for 4th of July festivities or just navigating a heatwave, it's important to remember horses and other animals can offer really suffer in the heat, and we have to take this in to consideration to ensure their health and well being. But today is the day here in the USA where we focus on being grateful for our freedoms given to us by our forefathers, who struggled so hard to ensure our democracy was protected. Thank you veterans! Be mindful of their sacrifices today, while enjoying time with friends and family and ensuring your animals are safe in this heat. Happy 4th!

Today I am grateful to live in America.

Today I am grateful it's the weekend.

Today I am grateful for the fiery orange, beautiful sunrise and that I got to wake up to see it.

Today I am grateful for my health and the ability to breath fresh air.

Today I am grateful all of the animals were happy and healthy when I woke up, and because of their tremendous life of leisure we are able to afford them, they do not have to worry about doing any kind of hard work in the heat, but just stand in front of their fans all day.

What about you, Animal Loving Angel? What are you grateful for today? If you live in America, no matter what your politics, it does not change that I hope you are grateful to live here and for all of the sacrifices made by so many, to help build the nation we have today, even with it's flaws. Otherwise, why stay?
